Non-communicable diseases include: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cancer, Cardiovascular disease, Parkinson’s disease. Risk factors include Stress conditions, consumption of alcohol, environmental factor, insufficient health services, and smoking. Tobacco use physically inactivity, the harmful use of alcohol and unhealthy diets all increase the risk of dying from a non-communicable diseases. The non-communicable disease prevention and control program aimed at preventing the non- communicable diseases, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, cancer and diabetes. The other programs aimed at preventing other non-communicable diseases like mental disorders, renal disease and blindness.
Non-communicable diseases kill 38 million people each year. Almost 80% deaths in 28 million people occur in low and middle income countries. Each year 15 million people die from non-communicable disease between the ages of 30 and 69 years. Cardiovascular diseases account for most 40% non-communicable disease deaths, or 17.9 million people annually, followed by cancers (8.2 million), respiratory diseases(4.0 million), and diabetes(1.5 million).
